The Florida Aquifer emerges as ground water in the many springs of north and central Florida. It also emerges beneath the nearshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico, seen here as the rough water in the foreground. Locals call it "Cold Hole". Spring Creek, Florida. Summer 2003.
